Program Manager

Summary: The Mass Tort Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing projects according to timelines and budgets.  The Program Manager works collaboratively with the operations units to manage business processes, milestones and the associated time of lien resolution activities.  Key to the success of this position is the ability to establish clear plans for project execution, excelling at communications with project stakeholders, and managing the quality of projects throughout project life cycle.


Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design of projects with client services and business development leaders.
  • Plan and execute projects based on client requirements.
  • Independently manage projects as assigned, including day-to-day communication and task completion.
  • Establish and communicate clear expectations to internal teams and stakeholders to ensure business priorities, goals and objectives are clear.
  • Implement and maintain productivity and quality standards.
  • Track, control and report project deliverables, required tasks and milestones.
  • Provide status reports, including monthly, mid-term, and post-project debriefs, to sponsor and stakeholders.
  • Meet financial objectives by monitoring performance, analyzing variances and taking corrective action.
  • Work collaboratively with client services to establish expectations between the client and GRG.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership with operations and service teams to ensure project timelines and integrity are achieved.
  • Hold resources accountable, work to remove obstacles and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Coordinate with IT project team to define business requirements and perform testing for enhancements to internal systems.
  • Coordinate client communications with client services and/or business development to ensure data requirements are met for timely lien resolution.
  • Follow, identify, and/or develop tools and best practices for project management and execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with experience in business, healthcare services, legal services or other related field.
  • Program/project management including process development or equivalent experience
  • Cross-functional leadership experience
  • Presentation and effective communication skills
  • Strong detail focused, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage processes across functional departments.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to advocate for and effectively understand clients needs and develop reasonable solutions.
  • Able to orchestrate large volumes of data while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Health insurance, lien, or litigation experience is a plus.
