Future Medicals Compensation Analyst


The Future Medicals Compensation Analyst is responsible for the analysis, drafting, and completion of cases that are assigned within the Future Medicals Scopes of Service including Future Medical Compensation Evaluations, Future Medical Allocations, and CMS Submissions. They are also responsible for client relationship coordination for Future Medical scope services.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Process assigned Future Medicals scopes of services in accordance with GRG’s time standards and to expected degree of quality
  • Manage ongoing client relationships according to GRG’s service standards (setting client expectations, maintain standard of professionalism, delivery of work product within standard timeframes, etc.)
  • Learn and apply GRG’s approach to considering Medicare’s future interest in settlements
  • Provide subject matter understanding and education both internally and externally
  • Draft Future Medicals work product documentation
  • Assist in redesign of the MSA Decision Engine and interpret its conclusions appropriately
  • Assist with research necessary for the Future Medicals team
  • Interface with Future Medicals Nurse Allocators on a case-by-case basis
  • Be available to internal and external clients for MSA-related questions and concerns
  • Successfully implement and drive focus for Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure compliance with current regulatory and HIPAA guidelines
  • Ensure system compliance and data entry accuracy.
  • Assists with enhancing processes
  • Quality control of work product
  • Other responsibilities as determined by leadership team.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience with legal research and writing
  • History of successful customer service skills
  • Excellent internal and external client service skills
  • Problem solving and strong analytical ability
  • Must be able to work independently and as an effective team member
  • Must have proficiency in MS Office applications

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Paralegal certification, training, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience with the MSA allocation community and concepts
  • Medical office management, coding or billing experience
  • Certified Nursing Assistant
