Lien Resolution Associate

Summary: This position ensures that all new liens are appropriately initiated with lienholders, documentation is received both timely and accurate, and that inbound documentation is routed in a timely and appropriate manner. This position requires clear and effective communication with lienholders and recovery agents regarding requests for documentation.  This position is a Temporary 60 - 90 day assignment.


  • Efficiently and effectively communicates with lienholders regularly via phone and/or e-mail
  • Ensures accuracy of inbound documentation including medical claims data
  • Documents all follow-up communications with detail and accuracy
  • Ensures all incoming correspondence is addressed, recorded, and appropriately distributed
  • Assist with lien initiation processes for both Private and Governmental lienholders via mail, e-mail, and fax.
  • Effectively works as a member of the team and volunteers to assist others, as appropriate
  • Maintains and organizes records, providing updates to Manager or others as requested
  • Participates with projects and assists Manager as needed
  • Regular and timely attendance
  • Other responsibilities as assigned


  • Certified Paralegal (CP) preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • One to three years call center and collectionsexperience preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to make well informed decisions independently and consistently
  • Positive attitude
  • Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Effective communication skills: written, oral and listening
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong internal and external client service skills
  • Problem solving and analytical ability
  • Able to orchestrate large volumes of data while meeting critical deadlines
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel
